| I slept through my Computer and Digital Applications class today. It was probably a bad idea, but I needed the sleep, and it was at 8 AM. I'm also sure that we weren't doing anything in the class, so we'll see what happens. Hopefully my grade won't die.
I have Piano in an hour, and I really don't want to go, because I have to practice accordion for my Mediterranean Ensemble concert tonight. Oh well.
Maybe I'll hit the radio station today, too. End scene.
Edit:
I'm at the radio station right now burning a buttload of CDs. I have almost the entire discography of Superchunk, Throwing Muses, Victory at Sea, and the Velvet Teen, as well as some new music I haven't listened to yet.
I'm going to my Mediterranean Ensemble concert in an hour, and I think I'm sort of prepared for it now. I'm just excited to get it over with.
I'm just anticipating a break. I need this weekend, and I need to get more motivated for school. Now that I got access to Studio E, Bobby and I are going to start/finish project II without fail, unlike our fail yesterday in the lab. Maybe I'll record some new stuff in there too. Now that there's an actual mixing and recording studio to work in that I have 24 hour access to, I might actually start getting stuff done.

| I felt like I had a lot to do today, but I finished it all (mostly). Lately, I've been relatively content with the way things are going with friends, Frankie, work, whatever. That might just be because I've pretty much had a four day weekend. Working out has done a lot for my mood though. I really enjoy lifting. It tests my limits, and normally I try to go beyond them (usually to the point of vomiting), but then I feel better afterwards and keep going.
Triplets of Bellville was the most ridiculous movie I've ever seen. The soundtrack was incredible, and so was the animation. The story was just...weird, is the way I would describe it, I think.
I want to find people to play my music with me and possibly make some other tracks, so if anyone is interested, let me know.
Halloween was pretty fantastic. I was a "bear" in the sense that I was a "cowboy" last year. Halloween wasn't as good as last year, but I still went Trick or Treating, went to a party for a half hour before I realized that parties aren't that fun if you don't drink (for the second time), and then I chilled with the Frankster.
I have to wait for this CD to burn before I can head over to choir. This better go quickly.
To do: Finish "I am Legend" Finish the second "Sandman" Live.

| I'm so sweaty, and totally typing this in Frankie's room. I think I need to branch out to a new group of friends. Lately I feel like I've been drifting from my normal group, and there's no way that's going to come back because this is college, and things like friendship come and go relatively quickly, I feel. Maybe I'll give some orientation people a call. I think I'm gonna let Frankie sit down. G'day | | |
| Team America, Midterms, Projects, Sickness, Radio, and more. These were the ingredients used to create the most average week, ever. No special ingredients were added, especially not Chemical X.
I went to my first party last night. We had nothing better to do. By "We," I mean Maggie, Andrew, Jessie and I. Maggie took us the wrong way, but we got there eventually and then she wanted to turn back because the street it was on was uber sketchy. Finally, Maggie decided to go in and we met up with Ally, the big BR, and PB.
I've always assumed that parties are a lot more fun than they sound like they'd be: "There's gonna be a lot of music and drinking!" But how much fun can drinking liquids and listening to music be? I don't drink, so maybe I'm missing something because everyone else loved the party. I was fine socializing with the people I was with, don't get me wrong. My friends are great people. I just don't understand why I paid $7 to talk to my friends in someone else's basement.
Highlights: "What are you dressed up as?" "Um..." "Something nice?" "Yeah. Something nice."
Bringing Starbucks mugs to parties gets you as much water as you can handle. ------------- We then proceeded to grab some calzones, but some relatively tipsy kids decided to go to Wawa instead, a decision I deemed very poor after I bought my "veggie" sandwich
Today, a few of us stopped by the museum of contemporary art. One work that sticks out in my mind was a relatively chubby naked guy dancing in the snow with a fur hat. So modern, but so awesome. And the whole place was free. Then we got sandwiches. Then it rained. Then we got wet. Then we ate dinner. Then we got even more wet. Then we went to Wawa. Then we went to a concert. The concert was fantastic. Then we went home. Then I realized I lose my key, and it was probably dropped at Pilam, all the way back at Penn's campus. Then I walked all the way back, by myself (sadly, and probably not smartly) to Pilam to see if my key was actually there. Then I miraculously found my key under a couch I hadn't been sitting on after only searching for ten minutes. Then I walked back to Drexel. Then I talked to Maggie, Tab, and Jessie Then I brushed my teeth Now I'm here.
And it's all been in either flip-flops or Homer Simpson slippers. End scene.
P.S. Today, I realized that I don't like drinking because I like to be in control of everything I do and think. Later today I realized that nobody is EVER in control of what he thinks. | | |
| This week has involved:
Talking about politics every day of the long weekend until 6 AM Essays "Where the Wild Things Are" and where they're not at 12 AM the day they're supposed to come out. Calzones Wawa Rain Holes in the bottoms of my shoes Custom making shoes Southland Tales Donnie Darko Pool Accordion solos 3 hours of work at the radio station.
